If you haven’t seen this yet, check out the new EduSlam site. EduSlam is the brain-child of Holly Clark (@HollyEdTechDiva), Tanya Avrith (@edtechschools), and Michael Quinn.
What is an eduslam? They call it an “educational home run.” Basically, it’s a best practice, an amazing app, a useful tool, or an innovative strategy for the classroom.
The site posts five-minute-or-less video interviews with teachers who demonstrate slam-worthy material.
So far, they have posted videos on:
- What is an Eduslam? (see below)
- Twitter in the Elementary Classroom
- EDU Hangouts
- Endorsement Walls
- Epic Fail
- Mystery Location Calls (a.k.a. Mystery Skypes) (I will get into these in my next post.)
